Have you noticed that since the pandemic, everyone knows someone who needs help with mental illness? NAMI of Rockland is our go-to, first resource for help for friends, coworkers, loved ones or yourself. Their annual 5K Run & Walk is one of their great fundraisers for all they do for us. Sunday September 8th at Rockland Lake State Park. Check in at 8AM, race starts at 9. Of course if, like me, you are more of a walker than a sprinter, you can still be sponsored on many levels just for a walk around the lake with friends.
